Yeah, that's about right.

I don’t say this often enough. I freaking love Netflix’s rating system. At first I didn’t get it but having used the service for a couple of years now I can say that it’s well worth the effort of rating things.

Normally, I know what I’m looking for on Netflix. I want to watch the new Star Trek or see if Sons of Anarchy is on yet (It is, by the way) and I search for those things straight out. I’ll check the recommended list to see if there is anything I’ve missed but it’s usually stuff I’m already familiar with.

Then comes something like Iron Man: Armored Adventures. The title sounds lame, the box art isn’t impressive (more important, in my opinion, when it comes to cartoons) and the description… well, I’ll post it after the break for you to judge yourself.

Earlier today I tweeted a video to a fan made “At the Mountains of Madness” trailer. I was then told about how it’s in the works, a fact I already knew but wasn’t excited about. Here’s the fan video and after the break I’ll talk a little bit about why I don’t think the Del Toro movie will be good.

OMG! Internet controversy in the geek community! Everyone is commenting on it! Well, since Bear Swarm! preempted the previous big debacle (by about half a year!)I figured that at least I’d get on board for this one. Basically, some people are offended by the icon Gen Con has been using for its “Activities for the Better Half” track. A series of events targeting the non-gamers that get drug along to Gen Con. The icon implies that these non-gamers are a ball and chain that holds back the gamer. At least if you choose to interpret it that way. Like almost everything, this comes down to a matter of perspective. Want my take on it? Of course you do, if you didn’t then you wouldn’t be on my site!
